Carson

Carson was born on February 3rd 2000, five minutes later his twin sister Byrnne was born. With each passing year his diagnosis of cerebral palsy defined his abilities. Carson could not roll over, he couldn’t talk clearly, he couldn’t swallow or feed himself, he couldn’t walk or any of the other things Byrnne had learned with ease.

One of our board members heard about a fund raiser for a middle school student while listening to a local radio station. We all remember the Deer Creek Middle School shootings in February of 2010. He contacted the radio station and ultimately the mother of young Matt who was one of the shooting victims.

Hi my name April, and on November 21, 2010 my son and I was in a really bad car accident. This accident almost cost me my life.  My son suffered minor injuries, thank God, but I on the other hand, was knocked unconscious, I was in a comma for a few days and when I woke up I was faced with some serious medical issues.
