I was injured in a horse accident 10 years ago. My spine was damaged severely and I have been confined to a wheel chair since. Four years after my injury I sought out more unconventional therapies, unfortunately I had to stop my most important therapy at Spinal Cord Injury Recovery Project.
Recently Brittney was informed she must have her kidney removed to save her life. She has very limited means and recently lost her job and is too sick to find work. Friends and family have been doing fund raisers and we have received a grant that all helps but we are still short of the required amount to get the surgery scheduled.
For most of my life I have been afflicted with chronic refractive migraines which means they basically never go away. In addition I have been recently diagnosed with diabetes. I am still able to work but live with the very real possibility that I will have to go on disability due to the severe pain which already leads to many lost work days.
